(Air Force Retired Officers Community) was formed in 1984 by a group of retired Air Force officers who hoped to create a premier military Life Plan Community, also known as a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), in Northern Virginia, near Washington, D. C. Our AFROC membership is now over 1200 strong, including both Falcons Landing residents and those who plan to make it their home in the future.
