President Donald Trump says he likes the idea to give some of the savings from Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency back to U.S. citizens as a kind of dividend

The CEO of investment firm Azoria lobbied DOGE figurehead Elon Musk to have the department issue stimulus checks from some of the claimed $55 billion in savings.

Speaking at a meeting of global financiers and tech executives hosted by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund in Miami, Trump said he is also considering using another 20% of the savings to pay down the federal government's debt.
