Winter Weather Advisory stretches across Michigan, see where the snow will stack up Saturday
A Winter Weather Advisory sparked by the incoming snow system on Saturday has been issued for a large swath of counties across Mid-Michigan and Northern Michigan. The advisory cautions of worsening driving conditions on Saturday. It runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

Counties north of M-46 have been placed under Winter Weather advisories that go into effect on Saturday, Feb 8 at 7 a.m. and run until Sunday, Feb. 9 at 7 a.m. The advisories that include Big Rapids, Reed City, Baldwin and Mt. Pleasant state that snow accumulations of 3-5 inches are expected.
