Depending on weather and clouds, rocket launches from Kennedy Space Center or Cape Canaveral can be seen from Daytona Beach to Melbourne to Vero Beach

The launch of a SpaceX rocket may be visible across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic on Tuesday evening — as the rocket ascends high enough to be seen by distant skywatchers. The launch time window is set for 6:07 to 7:07 p.

A Falcon 9 rocket on the Starlink 12-9 mission carrying 21 Starlink satellites is aiming for liftoff at 1:52 p.m. from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 40 during a launch window that runs through 5:37 p.m. Backup windows are available on Saturday beginning at 1:23 p.m.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the SpaceX Starlink 12-9 mission is set to liftoff during a window which extends from 1:50 p.m. to 6:21 p.m. EST Friday. Liftoff will be from Cape Canaveral's Space Launch Complex 40.
