The PGA Tour made it official Friday that the Genesis Invitational will be played at Torrey Pines. Last week, the Tour announced that the Genesis would be moved from Riviera Country Club due to the wildfires that have devastated the Los Angeles area.

The tour announced Friday that the San Diego venue—which is the backdrop for this week’s Farmers Insurance Open—will serve as the temporary home to next month’s Genesis Invitational after the Genesis was forced to move from Riviera Country Club due to the wildfires in Los Angeles

The tournament is relocating from its usual venue at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades due to ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles area.
