The full financial package involved in Vitor Roque's move from Barcelona to Palmeiras has been revealed. Signed in the summer of 2023 for an initial €30m (£24.8m), Roque moved to Barcelona in January 2024 but struggled horribly for minutes and ultimately left to join Real Betis on loan in the summer.

An initial fee of €25million plus €5m in add-ons has been agreed, and a sell-on clause is also set to be included as part of the deal.

Palmeiras have finally completed the signing of Barcelona striker Vitor Roque for an initial €25 million ($26m) after FIFA gave the green light for the transfer to take place.

Barcelona's deal with Palmeiras over Vitor Roque's sale could reach as high as €31m. Barca paid €30m to Athletico Paranaense over a year ago for Roque, with another €31m due in bonues - which were never met. Instead, Roque leaves for a fee of €25.5m plus €5m in bonuses. Barca also retain a 20 per cent cut of any sell-on fee.

However, FIFA has extended Barca a lifeline, handing the Spanish giants the green light to proceed with the transfer, rendering La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) powerless to stop it. Moving Roque on would provide Barca with a huge financial boost, with the club struggling to free up their bloated wage bill.
