One year after making 12 selections in the NFL draft — more than any other team — the Arizona Cardinals have just five picks this year. They traded their sixth-rounder to Denver for Baron Browning at the deadline and previously sent their seventh-rounder to Carolina to acquire Robbie Anderson.
The Cardinals have Browning, Dennis Gardeck, Jesse Luketa, Victor Dimukeje and Julian Okwara, all outside linebackers, scheduled to be free agents. That leaves only Zaven Collins, 2023 second-round pick BJ Ojulari and 2024 rookie Xavier Thomas as the only edge rushers under contract.
