In a rematch of the 2024 Western Conference Final, the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Dallas Stars 5-4 at Rogers Place on Saturday (March 8). Zach Hyman scored twice for the Oilers, who also got goals from Viktor Arvidsson, Connor Brown, and Connor McDavid.

Trade deadline acquisition Mikko Rantanen had a goal and an assist in his debut for Dallas, which had its four-game winning streak stopped. Wyatt Johnston, Jamie Benn and Matt Dumba also scored for the Stars. Jake Oettinger stopped 22 shots.
