Apple has begun mass production of its next-generation M5 chip, according to South Korean media, with the processor expected to arrive in

The Wednesday morning report said Apple’s chipmaking partner TSMC is currently packaging the first M5 chips off the production line. Since packaging the new chip is the final step before actually using the chip in devices, the M5 chip is effectively in mass production.

South Korean media claims that Apple Silicon M5 chips are in mass production, which makes a lot of sense considering that the first devices that will use them are expected ship before the end of 2025.
