A lucky lottery player in Oregon scooped an unbelievable $328 million Powerball jackpot - but could instantly lose half. The anonymous winner matched all six numbers on January 18 with a winning ticket bought in Beaverton.

Someone has come forward to claim the $328.5 million Powerball jackpot. But we won’t know the person’s identity for a while. The massive jackpot was hit during the Saturday, Jan. 18, drawing, McClatchy News reported. It wasn’t until Jan. 22 that someone came forward to claim the prize, the Oregon Lottery said in a Jan. 24 news release.

The winning ticket was purchased in Beaverton, Oregon Lottery officials said, but the winner has yet to claim their prize.
