Wind-driven Palisades and Eaton wildfires, which burned for three weeks ago in Southern California, were successfully extinguished on Jan. 31.

The Palisades and Eaton fires, two of the deadliest and most destructive wildfires in California history, reached 100 percent containment more than three weeks after they began.

The Palisades Fire has been the largest in terms of burned areas. The iconic Malibu restaurant Moonshadows was completely destroyed, as was the Palisades Branch Library. The Palisades Charter High School suffered extensive damage. Here’s an analysis of the building damage with what we know now:
