Defending champion Elena Rybakina defeated fan favorite Ons Jabeur in the 2025 Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open quarterfinals.

In a rematch of the 2022 Wimbledon final, Rybakina won a third-set tiebreaker to reach the semifinals at the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open.
