Apr 17, 2023 · That SD card is for the entry level Garmin MAP PILOT for vehicles that don't have the full COMAND system. The download manager that @Eaton pointed to is for the newer vehicles with COMAND NTG 5.5 or MBUX that have online map update and OTA capabilities. Does not apply to older COMAND systems and to update the COMAND maps you need a different SD card and a license key to update the maps.

Jan 25, 2025 · Wondering if others agree with my math here - if one were able to get the 4 services cost listed above it almost seems like a decent option. Getting 2 Sch A and Sch B it obviously about 1/2 off, however if I did things on my own over the course of 40,000 miles I would have 4 oil changes, 2 cabin filter changes and 1 brake fluid exchange (think 4 years).
