Space Force is very limited in scope and assignments. You have Vandenberg and Los Angeles in California, several bases in Colorado, and also some spots in Florida.

I'm prior Enlisted Air Force (Cyber), now a Space Force Officer. The major differences between USAF and USSF Cyber relate to the mission set. The Space Force is VERY small. We only have about 9,000 Guardians. Roughly half of which are Enlisted. This means that every career field focuses on mission ops, not support functions.

I think I will be moving forward with the Space Force just because I heard it is better for cyber and the quality of life is very similar to Air Force, and I also got highly recommended by the board. I know that base options are very, very limited in Space Force.

The Air Force has a significant presence in lots of places, the Space Force is mostly concentrated in Colorado with other bases in California, Florida, and a relatively small presence elsewhere (with a base in Greenland of all places).
